Photoshop provides various optimizing methods at the output window. Features provided are:
- Individual slice to be stored in GIF, JPEG, PNG, WBMP format.
- Applying file size limit to the each slice.
- Changing the dimensions of the output
Customizing each slice in appropriate file format :
- Select the "Slice Select Tool" in output window
- Select the appropriate file format from the drop down menu under
- Select option on the right of output window . Default format is GIF.
- To optimize the slice size, Click on the arrow with circle on the right of select option ( .
- Select optimize to file size in the drop menu ( Fig 3.20)
- Select the criteria if the size limit to be set to all slices or a particular slice ( Fig 3..21).
- Enter the preferred size, Click on ok
- Select save on the main output window.
