| - What kind of domains can you host? We can host any national or international domain extensions. |
| - How long does it take to set-up a new account? We usually finish setting up new accounts within 10 minutes, but starting processing an order may take up to 6 hours from the time of submitting the order, but in general it takes between 1 to 2 hours. |
| - How do I transfer my domain to you? You have to contact your domain registrar (the site you have paid to register your domain name) and ask them to update your DNS to the following: ns1.livedns.co.uk (213.171.192.250) ns2.livedns.co.uk (213.171.193.250) P.S. If you ordered us to register your domain we will do this step for you. |
| - Is there any fee to transfer my domain to you? No, absolutely not. |
| - Where do I upload my files? You can use your web browser to connect to your server via FTP, the form of the address to use should be ftp://username:password@ftp.Espinda.com, You can also use any FTP agent (we recommend Cute_ftp or Ws_ftp), then you will use FTP settings sent in your activation email, when you connect you have to upload your files to the 'public_html' folder to be viewable to your site's visitors by web browsers. |
| - How do I create subdomains, email accounts or add alias domains? You can do all that using MyEspinda. |
| - I need more space, what can I do? You cannot add space to your account, account packages are fixed, if you need more space you have to upgrade to the larger plan, you can request that at the help desk. |
| - Can I subdivide and resell my webspace? Yes you can, but you will be responsible on your space and you will have to monitor your users and what they are uploading to our servers, If any of your users breaks any of our Terms & Conditions, We will block your whole account without any prior notice. |
| - Do you have any restrictions on the content of the sites? Yes we have some restrictions, we don't allow adult material, copyrighted media, warez, please view our Terms & Conditions. |
| - How to update my profile (billing and contact info)? You can do that at MyEspinda. |
| - Can I host more than one site in one account? No, you can host more than one domain name but all have to point to the same root (all act as alias domains not separate websites), also you cannot point a domain to a subdomain that you have. |
| - What is a 'domain pointer'? Domain pointer or alias domain is a domain that points to the same index page as the main domain, this is like having ONE website with TWO or more names (like having .com and .net pointing to the same website), It does NOT have separate email or ftp accounts. |
| - Can I point a domain to a subfolder or a subdomain into my account? No, you cannot do that. |
| - What optional features can I add to my account and how to do that? You can view available optional features and add any of them options at at MyEspinda. |
| - How can I upgrade to a larger account? You can do that by requesting upgrade at the help desk. |
| - Do I have a dedicated IP address or can I have one? Dedicated IP address is optional, you can have your own dedicated IP address at at MyEspinda. |
